Buddy System
The buddy system is a procedure in which two people, the buddies, operate together as a single unit so that they are able to monitor and help each other. When this system is used as part of training or the induction of newcomers to an organization, the less experienced buddy learns more quickly from close and frequent contact with the experienced buddy than when operating alone. This concept is also applicable to minimize tool setup time.
Computer Science & Engineering department follows this system to train the students for the placement activity. A group of higher semester students and alumni, who are already placed, will guide the lower semester students by way of conducting aptitude tests, mock interviews, group discussions and other activities. Students participate in real world problem discussions to exchange ideas on how to solve them. Over the year’s we have created an extensive knowledge–base of such discussions. This has proven to be very helpful to the students and has enabled fruitful results.
